Mother's Day Out Program

Mother’s Day Out at First Baptist Church is a Christian Tuesday/Thursday program for children 18 months through five years old.

Dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays

Times: 9:00am – 2:00pm

Our desire is to provide a safe and nurturing environment that supports each child’s physical, social, emotional, educational and spiritual development.
We want every child to experience God’s love through caring relationships, joyful learning experiences and a Christ-centered environment.

We want to provide an environment and experience that will allow your child to:

❖ Build confidence and experience success
❖ Grow in independence and self-control
❖ Express themselves creatively
❖ Develop a sense of security through trusting relationships
❖ Learn to interact and socialize with other children through positive,
play-based experiences

Curriculum

Our children learn through Bible stories, songs, creative play and hands-on arts and crafts. Each day is filled with opportunities to move, explore, create and grow as they build coordination and confidence while preparing them for the next stage of learning.

We have a well-planned curriculum, which provides a teaching topic for each week as well as a letter, number, shape, and color to learn or review. The activities are organized around the weekly themes, using learning centers that include art, home living, finger play, building blocks, manipulatives, reading, and circle time. A variety of curriculum is utilized for academic focus in preschool classes.

As a Christian Preschool, we share Bible stories and Scripture as part of our time together in ways our children can understand and enjoy.
